The first thing I thought ofwhen looking at the picture,is how much I love to hold my own mom's hand. Thirty years ago, the little girl in the picture loves grabbing her mother's hand out of habit. Now, her elderly mother snuggles with her and the girl gives her hand the same way that her mother offered before.

Caring for aging parents is a responsibility. When your parents are getting old, if they repeat the same thing like a tape recorder, don't interrupt, and try to remember the times when you were little and they would read the same story night after night until you would fall asleep. When you see how ignorant they are when it comes to new technology, give them some time to learn, remember how they patiently taught you to do things when you were young.

A famous saying goes "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers". Every year there are two days set aside to celebrate the role of parents, called Mother's Day and Father's Day. This is a good opportunity for us to express gratitude and thanks to our parents and except for the two days, let's cherish every day that we can spend with our parents.
