Linda: I love European parks and gardens.

David: Greenwich Park is lovely, and the observatory is very interesting. You can stand astride the Prime Meridian at Greenwich and have one foot on the Western Hemisphere and one foot on the Eastern.

Linda: That'll be fun. We must take a photo.

David: Look, everybody, have you seen the Houses of Parliament behind us and Westminster Abbey?

Linda: Yes, the most interesting place. All the kings and queens of England have been crowned there.

David: Yes, except Edward V and Edward VIII.

Linda: And many famous people are buried there, including kings and poets.

David: Yes, indeed.

Linda: Oh, we must be approaching the heart of the city now. There's the Natwest Tower.

David: Yes, it's the tallest building in the U.K. now.

Linda: Now we are coming up to London Bridge. Next, we're going to the Tower of London.

David: Oh, splendid. What a sight! I am in the seventh heaven!
