B:It was great,the weather was good and the classes were fun.

B:Really friendly. I got invited to lots of parties.

A:So what's your impression of Taiwan's universities?

B:They are basically the same as ours but there is not as much competition to get in as here.

A:Oh, why is that?

B:Several reasons. There is the low birth rate, brain drain and the fact they are building more universities.

A:Did you do any sightseeing while you were there?

B:I visited most of Taipei's hot spots such as Taipei 101 and the night markets. In fact I got you this Hello Kitty doll from there. Everyone's mad about Hello Kitty in Taiwan.

B:我参观了台北的很多著名景点，比如台北101 大厦、夜市。你的这个Hello Kitty 就是我从那里买的。在台湾，每个人都着迷于Hello Kitty。

A:Thanks. So how long were you there for?

B:Only two months but I hope that with travel being made easier I can go back soon and visit all my new friends.
