B:My name is Lily Lee.How do you do?

A:Sit down,please.

B:Thank you.

A:Let me ask you a few questions,Miss Lee.Where do you live?

B:I live in Beijing.

A:Beijing,I see.And where are you going to school?

B:I go to Peking University.

A:Where is that?

B:I beg your pardon?

A:Where is Peking University?In what district?

B:Oh,it's in Haidian.

A:And what is your major?

B:I'm majoring in English.

A:I see.Have you taken any business classes or others?

B:Yes,I've taken typing and Secretarial Theory and this year I'm taking Secretarial Practice and Current English.

A:Have you ever worked before?

B:Yes,I had a part time job for two months at International Trading Co.

A:Oh,really?

B:Yes,it was a very interesting experience.

A:What did you do,office work?

B:Yes,mostly typing and running errands.

A:Oh,very good,very good.But you know that we are really looking for a billingual secretary.Why did you answer our ad?

B:Well,for me the most important thing is to find work where I can meet with and deal with people from other cultures.As a Chinese,this seems to be the most exciting thing I can do.

A:I see.Of course,you've been overseas,haven't you?

B:Yes,I've been to America.I lived in Wisconsin on a homestay program.

A:Oh,really?How long did you be there?

B:Eleven months,when I was in high school.

A:Oh,wonderful.No wonder you speak English so well,and you must be used to dealing with foreigners.

B:Yes,I am, to some extent.

A:Good.Now,do you have any questions you'd like to ask me about this company?

B:Yes,I would like to ask about the salary.How is it decided?

A:Well,all new employees begin at a standard salary of 2,000 yuan per month.Then,after your training period,you are given an assignment.Someone like you may be given a higher ranking assignment,and then you would get a higher monthly salary.

B:How about other benefits?
