Describe the ideal home that you would like to live in

My ideal house is one located in the countryside， and it would be just like an average house， nothing too fancy. I want to live close to the nature coz I can enjoy fresh air and feel relaxed in that environment. It would be a two-storey house built along a smooth blue lake， sometimes with gentle waves. Inside， there are a couple of cozy bedrooms， a bright living room， a well-furnished kitchen， and some bathrooms. I will equip the kitchen with a lot of modern appliances， such as a fridge， a dishwasher and a microwave. In the living room， there are some armchairs， a sofa ，a table and something like that. And TV is a must in the living room. Then the bedrooms is furnished with beds， desks and stereo system. So， it is the one have been dreaming of.

1.Where do you live?I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.

6.Is there anything you would like to change about your flat?I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.

7. Do you live in a house or an apartment?I live in a semi-detached house with three bedrooms and a small garden.

8. Which room do you like most in your house? Why?My favourite room is the kitchen because it looks out onto the back garden, and it's on the side of the house that catches the afternoon sun.

9. Is there anything about your house that you would like to change?Well, it would be nice if it were a detached house so that we could have windows on the wall that we currently share with our neighbours.

10. Tell me something else about your house.The previous owners converted the loft into an extra bedroom; that's the quietest room in the house, and the best place to go to do some work.

1. What kind of housing do you live in?

I live with my parents in an apartment. It is a first floor house of 120 square meters with a big garden in Zibo, Shandong province. Two dogs and one cat also live with us there. There are some trees and vegetables planted in the garden by my parents, living a poetic life.

Actually, with a garden we already have, living in a flat is not far from living in a house. The house might be bigger than the flat, but there are only four people in my family which means big space is not very necessary. There is also a disadvantage of living in a house. I live with my wife and two kids in a big house just outside the second ring road. After finishing university, I lived alone for a few years before getting married. I preferred living alone, because I could do what I liked and could keep my lifestyle private. Of course, eventually I had to make a choice—get married or live alone. I think I made the right choice!

4. Could you please describe the place you live in?

Well, I live in a high-rise building where the facilities are good in urban area. There are air-conditioning and voice-controlled doors in the building. However, people who live here rarely communicate with their neighbors and they’re quite indifferent to each other.
