The woman I'm writing about is my sister. She is the rock I lean on when timesget rough. When we were younger, our mother suffered from alcoholism. Being ayoung child coping with this was difficult. At eight years old, my sister tookon the responsibilities of running the house. She was the one who reminded methat no matter how low things seems there was nowhere to go but up.

Now our mother is recovering, my sister and I are furthering our educations, andmy sister's still holding the family together. Any stress, any troubles, she'sstanding right there helping you through it. When finals are getting me down andhave me doubting myself, my sister offers these amazing words of wisdom:“Onlythe most successful doubt their talents.”

I’d like to say thank you to my sister. If it weren't for you, I don't knowwhere my life would be right now.
