Boss：Linda,well,you know that our company is downsizing and we have to lay off some employees.

Linda：So,what you're saying is you're letting me go,right?

老板：琳达，嗯，你也知道咱们公司正在缩减开支，我们必须要裁掉一些员工。

琳达：所以，您的意思是你们要裁掉我是吗?

Linda：Could you tell me the reasons?

Boss：I know you are a hard worker,but your work is average.Also,you tend to be negative and complain a lot.

老板：我知道你工作很努力，但成绩平平。而且你还比较悲观，爱抱怨。

Linda：I see.Thank you for telling me that.
