Sheldon觉得最不需要动脑的工作就是Penny的工作，于是他来到“芝士工厂”打工。

Penny: Wh... What are you doing here?

Sheldon: A reasonable question. I asked myself, what is the most mind-numbing, pedestrian job conceivable, and three answers came to mind. That toll booth attendant, and Apple Store Genius...and what Penny does. Now...since I don't like touching other people's coins, and I refuse to contribute to the devaluation of the word "genius," here I am.

Penny: You just, you just walked in and they hired you, just like that?

Sheldon: Oh, heavens, no. Since I don't need to be paid, I didn't need to be hired. I simply came in, picked up a tray, and started "working for the man". Let me get that plate out of your way.

Penny: Sheldon, this is ridiculous.

Sheldon: Is it? Just moment ago, I had a minor epiphany regarding the polymer degration phenomenon while scraping congealed nachos off a plate. Bernadette, table 10 wants their check.

Bernadette: Thanks, Sheldon.

Penny: Sheldon, wait, this isn't even what I do. I'm a waitress, not a busboy.

Sheldon: You're right. That is more menial.

佩妮：你……你在这干啥呢?

谢尔顿：哦，当然不是。因为我不需要他们付工资，自然也不用应聘了。我就是走进来，拿了个托盘，就开始“服务大众”了。我来收拾这个盘子。

佩妮：谢尔顿，这很荒谬。

谢尔顿：真的?就刚才，当我在清理盘子上的玉米片的时候，我有点突然想通高聚物分解现象了。伯纳黛特，10号桌要结账。

伯纳黛特：谢谢，谢尔顿。

佩妮：谢尔顿，等等，那压根就不是我的工作呀。我是服务生，不是勤杂工。
