关于home的雅思口语话题

1.Where do you live?

I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.

2.Do you live in a house or a flat?

I live in a 3 bedroom flat on the 11th floor of a big apartment building.

3.Who do you live with?

I live there with my wife and little baby son.

4.Is it a big place?

It’s pretty big for a flat. It has 3 large bedrooms, one for my wife and I and one for my son when he gets older. It also has a smaller bedroom that I use as a study and to store things in. The kitchen is small but it is part of a big open plan living room, so there is lots of space for the family.

5.How is your apartment decorated?

I don’t like lots of over the top decoration, so I guess you would describe it as minimalist. The walls are all white and the furniture is also either white or black. There are very few ornaments or pictures because again, I like to keep things quite minimal and I hate clutter.

6.Is there anything you would like to change about your flat?

I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.

7. Do you live in a house or an apartment?

I live in a semi-detached house with three bedrooms and a small garden.

8. Which room do you like most in your house? Why?

My favourite room is the kitchen because it looks out onto the back garden, and it's on the side of the house that catches the afternoon sun.

9. Is there anything about your house that you would like to change?

Well, it would be nice if it were a detached house so that we could have windows on the wall that we currently share with our neighbours.

10. Tell me something else about your house.

The previous owners converted the loft into an extra bedroom; that's the quietest room in the house, and the best place to go to do some work.

雅思口语home话题怎么回答

Q1: What kind of housing do you live in? /Do you live in a house or a flat?

A: I live in a flat with my parents now and we have been living in this flat for almost ten years.

A: Now I live in a dorm with another five girls in university. We are all good friends and most of the time we eat together and have classes at the same time, so it’s really nice living in a dorm.

Q2: Are the transport facilities to your home very good?

A: I would say yes. There are several buses coming to my home and I can reach quite a lot most-visited places in my city. Also, there a subway line going near my home so I can catch the subway on conditions of rainy or snowy days.

Q3: What part of your home do you like the most?

A: My bedroom is obviously my favourite. It’s like my own little world where I can enjoy my privacy and time completely. I do assignments and enjoy movies at my desk, play my guitar near my windows, and when I’m tired, I just lie in bed and read a novel. It offers me peace so I fancy my bedroom most.

雅思口语home话题高分范文

1) How easy is it to find a place to live in your country?

Well, it depends on how much money you are able to spend and where exactly you want to live. Of course, if you have the money, it’s very easy to find a place to live. However, house prices have been on the rise in recent years, and it is becoming difficult for young adults to buy their first homes, or even to pay rental prices in some areas, particularly in central London.

2) Do you think it's better to rent or to buy a place to live in?

I think it’s better to buy your own home if you can afford to do that. Buying your own home is a better investment in the long term, because you can sell the home and perhaps even make a profit on it. The alternative is to pay rent to a landlord who can ask you to leave at any moment.

3) Do you agree that there is a right age for young adults to stop living with their parents?

I’m not sure what the ‘right’ age would be, but I do agree with the principle that young adults should try to live alone if they can. For some people, the right age is when they get their first full-time jobs and can afford to pay rent, and for others it's when they start university and move into a hall of residence with other students. This was what happened in my case; I moved out of the family home at age 18 when I started university.
