Jack:Price is quite sensitive in this market. When our product was marked up at a higher recommended retail price, our sales were lower and lower after product launch.At a discounted price, we landed more sales.

Charlie:Do you think we should start low?

Jack:Yes. Price is an important variable in our market, so we can use it to build our customer base.If our customers get hooked on the low recommended retail price, they will buy and become more loyal to our brand.In that case, we can hike the price up when the sales hit the peak and our customer base relays on our products.

Charlie:I think we should focus on young consumers.

Jack:That's our targets. The young consumer is fast to commit, but fickle to stay with a brand.Our challenge is customer loyalty.
