A:Good afternoon.May I see Miss Brown?I have an appointment with her at four o'clock.

B:I'm Miss Brown.You must be Catherine Simpson.Come in and sit down,please.

A:Thank you very much.

B:I sent you an application form.Did you receive it?

A:Yes,I did.I've finished it and brought it with me.Here it is.

B:Oh,thank you very much.I also sent a copy of our Conditions of Service.

A:Yes,I've read it through.

B:Did you understand it?

A:Yes,thank you.

B:So now you know all about our working hours,holiday arrangements and salary scales.Do you have any questions to ask?

A:Yes,I've learnt how to type stencils and run copies on a duplicator at the Bank.

B:Oh,good.Now,I'm going to give you a short dictation and typing test,and then Mr.Smith would see you.
