A：Well，Mr. Black，we’ve settled everything related to this transaction except the question of payment in Euro.Now can you explain to me how to make payment in Euro?

B：Many of our business friends in England，France，and Germany are paying for our exports in Euro. It is very convenient.

A：I know some of them are doing that.But this is something new to us.We’ve always made payment in US dollars in the past.

B：Many banks in Europe now carry accounts in Euro. They are in a position to open letters of credit and effect payment in Euro.Make a consultation at the bank and you’ll see that they are ready to offer you this service.

A：Do you mean to say that I can open a letter of credit in Euro with a bank in London or Berlin?

B：Of course you can. Most of the banks here in London are able to open letters of credit in Euro now.They’ll do so according to our sales confirmation or contract.
